To celebrate the Harmony Day festivities, the children were engaged in an experience of handprints where we all painted our hands orange and talked about being together on this Harmony Day.

We talked about how everybody is different and from different places, and we should always be kind, no matter which place we belong to. The children had fun with the brushes and tickling, with many laughs and smiles.

The educators encouraged the children to all have a turn painting their hands. The children had great fun experience with the tree. We used some brown bark for the tree and orange paint to finish the experience.

Learning: The children enhanced their fine motor, sensory, social, language, and community skills during the experience.
