The children enjoyed engaging in a group game with the parashoot.
Educators encouraged the children to come into our Zen Studio for a quiet game. They rolled the coloured ball, trying to match the colour of the ball on the parashoot. They tried throwing the balls up and catching them, and then they all waved the parashoot up high in the air and hid underneath.
This experience was enjoyed by all the children, from our little babies all the way up to our kindy-aged children.
The babies especially enjoyed crawling under as the older children waved the parashoot around. The learning with the activity was colours and matching the colours of the balls with the colours they could see on the parashoot. Moving and manipulating the parashoot around till the matching ball stayed on the colour.
