Exploring different cultures is one way for us to gain an understanding of the world around us. The toddler children have been exploring the children of the Torres Strait Islands and how entwined they are with the world around them.
First gathering NATURE we have been able to create our own nature bracelets to wear and gift to our families as well as repurposing the NATURE to create collaborative art pieces.
We have been exploring the relationship the Torres Strait Islands have with the Ocean while learning TABA NABA a children’s action song.
We may not all be Torres Strait Island children, but we thank them as we have found some great ways to explore Coolbellup.
