We opened our session by collaboratively discussing emotions, how they make us feel, and what they might look like.

We tried to recall the emotions we talked about yesterday, such as frustration, happiness, and anger, and what it is to feel safe and unsafe.

We progressed to looking at the emotion booklet and trying to identify the different emotions on the page. This experience tested their knowledge and gave us the opportunity to discuss new emotions and how some of these emotions might look like others.

We talked about the difference between happy and proud, as well as frustrated and angry. The children were encouraged to colour each emotion in and will be taking these booklets home.
