Off on an adventure into the community our vacation care children went animal exploring at Caversham Wildlife Park.
Together with educators Kim and Micayla the children sent off on a mission to find as many Australian animals as they could, some of the snakes we had seen earlier in the week when they came for an incursion to Sonas Gosnells.
In small groups the children discussed the various features of the animals and how reptiles differed from birds and the characteristics that make them different.
Caversham Wildlife Park left the children exhausted and made for a sleepy drive back to childcare.
