Why do you make playdough every day?

Well in conjunction with regular cooking experiences making play dough builds and develops many of our culinary skills for life such as:

Measuring – introduces and develops mathematical concepts.
Mixing – enhances hand dexterity and fine motor development.
Adding colour – adding and mixing colours develops sound understanding.
Wet and dry ingredients  – allows children to learn through their senses.
Working with ovens – builds patience while extending on knowledge of “hot”.
Working in small groups – develops vital social skills for community engagement.
