Sonas Gosnells – Safe 4 Kids – Protective Education Program 

As part of our daily curriculum our children are able to participate in the SAFE 4 KIDS – PROTECTIVE EDUCATION PROGRAM daily.

This week we discussed taking risks on purpose such as when you first ride a bike it seems really, really scary until you pop your helmet and training wheels on and someone guides you safely until your experienced and then the risk becomes smaller.

After the discussion the children and their educators identified what might be risking on purpose opportunities at Sonas Gosnells. This provided the children with a child led opportunity to make sense of the information they were receiving and to ensure they transfer and adapt the knowledge to real life scenarios.
