This week our children have been exploring their sense of touch, smell and sometimes taste with an outdoor floral tea party.

Having just acquired some beautiful teapots from our local op shop we were ready to make fragrant tea concoctions.

Our littlest people were eager to have a turn and with a little assistance from the older children were soon confident in both their pouring and their mixing skills.

“My mum makes green  colour tea” said one of the children, so we just had to add green to our tea party.

“Can you make coffee in a pot?” chimed in another “ I got coffee “ said a peer proudly holding up a jar of granulated coffee (sand) and coffee was added to the menu.
