At Sonas our children have the opportunity to explore the natural world around them and purpose built equipment such as the water pump provide vast opportunities to enhance child learning intrinsically.
The school aged children are assisting the younger children to fill up the buckets to take to the sand pit and one of the children wants to make a river. Quickly adding some aluminium foil to the space the educators assist the children to create a river bed with the wet sand before adding the water and animals to explore and play with. We also created a small billabong for the Australian animals to rest at during the long hot day.
