The last two weeks we have been learning about Australia. Why we celebrate Australia Day and who does what on Australia Day. Here at Huntingdale we got to explore playdough with our native gumtrees. Creating the map of Australia with playdough and placing bits of gumtree through it.
We also created a collage of the aboriginal flag using red, yellow and black torn paper. We also used our imagination’s in creating fireworks. By using pipe cleaners, we twisted them into stars and dipped them into paint and glitter to press onto paper.
