From generation to generation, story telling has played a huge part in everyone’s childhood.
The art of storytelling has been around for hundreds of years. Looking at tradition, we explored the storytelling of the traditional custodians of the land, the Aboriginal people-looking at how symbols represented their journeys, life events and their Dreamtime.
This inspired us to create our very own Sonas Dreamtime using the traditional symbols and painting methods of crushing ochre to form our paint and represent our journey.
