Here at Sonas, we use our knowledge of child development and learning theories to guide our work with all children.
Fundamentally our approach to children’s learning is entrenched in the concept of play-based, hands-on learning environments where children have the opportunity to engage in play that is: messy, quiet, active, physical, creative, in groups, alone, games with set and made-up rules, role play, fun play.
Through this play children will learn and experience: creativity, adventure, compassion, trust, acceptance, hold an open-mind, friendliness, societal norms, charity, caring, helpfulness, understanding, gentleness, confidence, attentiveness, interest, happiness, independence, social responsivity, collaboration, respect, self-learning.
