We have been doing a lot of research on the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders in preparation for upcoming NAIDOC celebrations. We are so fortunate to have one of our grandfathers, who is an Aboriginal elder to visit us. When Trevor was with us, he told us stories about his childhood, the animals and the land and how our beautiful country evolved. He then let us have a turn on saying our names through the didgeridoo. His grandson can play the didgeridoo and he did it so well. We were all in awe of him.
