Life skills have a significant role in what children genuinely need to acquire at an early age when it comes to abilities.

Children must acquire the necessary skills to live independently, and scooping is one of the simplest to learn. We want to raise independent children. One way we assist with that is by teaching young children life skills like scooping and pouring so they can start managing life on their own. By doing that, we focused on three Reindeer jars of varying sizes, into which we had to carefully scoop the rice and pour it. We counted how many scoops were necessary to fill each jar as we added the rice to the containers.

Each of our rounds was unique because some of us made large scoops and others made smaller scoops.

When we consider how children develop, we want to ensure that they are learning abilities that will benefit them, such as scooping and pouring because it’s an important life skill experience.
