Sonas Karrinyup – Worm Farm

We have been learning about sustainability and set up our worm farm so we can fertilise our gardens and even share some worm tea with our families.

It was exciting opening up the box and building the worm farm. It was challenging putting the gardening gloves on, then it was funny having a hold of the wriggly worms.

We talked about how in a few weeks we are going to be able to feed the worms some of our food scraps, saving them going in the bin and that in return the worms are going to give us fertiliser for our gardens.
