As we settle into our beautiful new Midland service and children have built up on their sense of belonging to Sonas by knowing and remembering where things are, our educators are focusing on enhancing our children’s self-help skills.
A big topic was this week for the children to use the sinks and the soap dispenser independently as well as practicing using the tongs for mealtimes without assistance, sometimes with two hands.
With ongoing repetition, we found very proud smiles on the children’s faces when they succeeded.
