Sonas Midland – Facial Features!   

This week we explored the concept different facial features. 

We used pictorial flashcards of different parts of our face to learn about them as well as the senses. Playing a memory flash game and roll the cube game. The children took turns flipping the card over, identifying what part of the face they had, and pointing to it on their own face.

Then, we extended the learning by talking about what each function on that feature is. The end learning objective is for the children to be able to correctly draw and identify different parts of their body.
