This week at Midland in our Pre Kindy program, we created a letter hunt.
We used sensory rice to hide the letters, and each child had a chance to find a letter in the rice.
The educator and children pronounced each letter once found and brainstormed what words start with each letter. We used teamwork to help our friends and had a blast digging through the rice.
