Sonas Wanneroo – Ambulance Visit 

This week we have been so lucky to have St John Ambulance come out for a visit to Sonas Wanneroo.

We have listened to a story about “care-a” the bear who came to show us what a paramedic looks like. We then got to try and dress up as a paramedic. After this Lindsey, our St John Ambulance friend, showed us a song by The Wiggles called 000 which is a fun way for the children to remember who to call, we were given a phone card to practise on. 

After this we, in small groups, have been able to go out and explore all the things in an ambulance, including oxygen masks, bandages, sick bags and how to strap in safely.
