We have been learning all about numbers this morning.

The numbers from 1-3 have been written on the boards for the children to follow with the beads. Some children were able to identify what the numbers were while others were just getting an idea of what numbers are and what they look like.

Number understandings involve the capacity to count and order numbers and to recognise and write numerals.

Analysis of learning: Child demonstrates an understanding of how print is used (function of print) and the rules that govern how print works (conventions of print).
