This week our children have amazed staff with their confidence in taking on risky play. They have enjoyed showing off their abilities by climbing up the rock wall to get on top of the fort.
The children encouraged and supported their peers to try and climb the rocks. As the children reached the top, they celebrated their achievements. The children then wanted to go down the slide just so that they could climb up the rock wall again.
Other children showed off their skills as they balanced on the beams set up outdoors. As the children gained more confidence within themselves, they then began jumping from one balance beam to another.
The children then changed the pattern of the balance beams to make it more challenging for each other.
It was enjoyable for the educators as they watched the children reach new milestones.
