This morning we gathered together in our STEM studio to participate in an experience of creating moon sand.
We did this by mixing flour and oil into a bowl until it created a consistency that was mouldable but also could crumble.
Once it was created, we placed it into two trays where our peers were given cups, pipe cleaners and a magnifying glass so they could build and observe.
Using these items our group created houses, ice cream, drinks and mountains.
Our group explored the moon sand using their senses as they broke it in between their hands to feel the textures.
