Our families jumped on board this ongoing exploration into the cultures of the Torres Strait Islanders and the children came dressed in their floral best.
Floral Friday is about celebrating the vibrant Torres Strait Island cultures and we shared some of the traditional music of the Torres Strait Islands while we decorated flowers to make our centre vibrant too.
Together we began to learn the actions to Taba Naba a children’s song from the islands. We are so excited to continue our exploration next week.
