Sonas Wattle Grove – Fruit or Vegetable 

This week the educators and children participated in an activity called “guess the fruit or vegetable.” 

The educators and children placed their hand into the lucky dip and pulled out either a fruit or vegetable and then their peers had to guess if it was a fruit or a vegetable.The aim of this game was to encourage the children to explore a variety of fruits and vegetables. Top support further learning and development the educators posed questions to the children such as “what is this colour” “can they be eaten raw”

The children were so excited to answer the questions and clapped when they got the answers correct. The children then spent time with their peers recreating the game.
