Germs…
We learnt about germs today, as we were all gathered around outside.
We placed the tuff tray on top of the outside table and begun to explore. Firstly, we added water into the tuff tray and then some corn flour. As we were adding all our resources the children noticed that it looked like milk.
We then added some glitter to the mix and then noticed as the glitter was added it started sticking to the children’s hands and would not come off. One by one the children would show their hands to the group and then go wash their hands with soap and water to see if all the glitter would come off.
The children enjoyed these experiences and communication amongst the group had been non-stop.
