The pre-school and kindy children have been learning about fire!!!!!
All the important things were discussed: What does fire feel like? How does fire spread? Who do we call in an emergency?
And the most important question to us What stops fire???
Our answer: WATER
Next Question: Where can we gets water???
Our answer: RAIN
Hmmmm it’s difficult to make RAIN but after some research with Maddy and Tash we discovered that in some cultures there is a traditional RAIN dance and sometimes they use natural materials to create RAINSTICKS.
How fun so using recycled materials we created our own version of a rainstick.
