This morning we have sat down as a group in our outdoors play space to participate in a spontaneous experience!

Using soap, glycerine, food colouring, sugar and water we were able to experiment and create our own bubbles.

Measuring up the amount of soap to water we would need, together we poured our mixtures into our tuff tray mixing it all together using a whisk adding more of both If we didn’t create enough bubbles the first time.

Adding our sugar to bind our ingredients together and adding the glycerin to create an even brighter shine, our mixture was finally complete and ready for us to use!

Placing our hands all into the mixture, we realised the more movement we created the more bubbles would appear.

The children cupped their hands, picking up a bunch of bubbles and blew them as they watched them fall back down into the tray.
