While the babies love dinosaurs, they preferred the discovery of cause and effect.
What questions we asked:
- How do we make it go from soft too hard?
- What’s hiding in there?
Together with Pushpah and Madison the babies were able to feel the different textures of the dough how soft it felt between our fingers, and with our small dinosaur we pressed the feet into the soft dough.
Our next step is to give them to Noelle for cooking.
We went for walks with Maddy down the hallway to the kitchen to check them while they were cooking (safety first, we can’t touch the hot oven)
Then we waited for them to cool down before our next step:

- Why did the colour change?
- What’s inside?
Our faces lit up as we discovered that our eggs could also be painted.
