The children at Sonas Wattle Grove have been increasingly interested in Educator Jessica’s pregnancy and in particular how big the baby is and when he will arrive.
So much so that each Tuesday the same group of children excitedly approach Jessica to ask how much the baby has grown this week. To assist them in understanding we have been showing them ultrasound photos and using an app to give them a visual guide as to how long he is and how much he weighs.
This week we used a ruler to measure out his length and cut a piece of string to size for the children. They were amazed by how big he is already. The children have been so inquisitive and caring.
We can’t wait to introduce them to the baby that they have cared for so lovingly.
