The children were excited to see two space rocks brought in by one of our fellow peers.
We gathered around the mat and were given the opportunity to investigate these tektites which are melted terrestrial sediment from a meteorite also known as space glass.
These specific space rocks were given to the family in the Pilbara from the Nyiyparali elders and we were very lucky and intrigued to be given to opportunity to investigate more into space.
