This week the children at Ashby were in our STEM Studio learning about magnetic pulls through connecting magnets together.

The children were intrigued when they tried to put two pieces together and they wouldn’t connect, this was teaching the children about negative forces. The children then tried attaching no magnetic items to the magnet board to see if they would connect learning cause and effect skills.

Magnetic play also offer children the chance to build their language development, inquiry skills, and a variety of problem solving skills.
