The children at Ashby have been talking about role play and what it looks like. “It’s pretending to be like mummy.” We talked about what we would need to be able to help recreate the role play environments.

We then reached out to our community, where we asked for office things like keyboards, old computers, etc. A lovely lady from our area said she had a few keyboards we could have.

We also had another community friend who brought us a bag of books that their daughter no longer needed and wanted to pass on to younger peers.

Through this community outreach, the children learn the importance of what a community is and how people can come together to help each other when in need.
