This morning we harvested our broccoli, parsley and kale leaves.

The Children gathered their hats and spread out around the garden beads.

As educators used the gardening tools to chop the broccoli the children watched on with much excitement and anticipation.  Next we moved onto pulling kale and parsley. Once it was pulled at the stem, it was placed into a bowl. The broccoli was taken to the kitchen, and boiled up ready for lunch time.

Later in the afternoon, the children assisted myself to place the parsley and kale into bags, and place them up the front, ready for the children and their families to take home.
