Kids in the Kitchen is an important part of the Sonas Curriculum. Children participate weekly in cooking experiences while in care.

Kids in the Kitchen provides children with valuable life experiences. The children learn a variety of different skills including measuring, cutting, counting, use of different utensils and following directions just to mention a few. Children are exposed to a variety of different cooking techniques.

Some of the different recipes the children are following Cornflakes Biscuits, Vegemite and Cheese Scrolls, Anzac Biscuits and Banana and Blueberry Muffins.
