The educator’s placed the black tape onto the table. The objective of this experience was to see if the children could pull the tape off the table and if they couldn’t would try to persist.
During this experience our little friends watched their older peers to try and pull off the tape from the table. After multiple attempts one of our friends couldn’t pick the sticky tape off the table, the educators assisted them in lifting a small edge of the corner, they then grabbed that small edge and started to pull it backwards, everyone sat together calmly until all the tape was successfully pulled off the table.
In this experience the educators were able to observe the children use their fine motor skills and hand eye coordination as they were able to use techniques to pull the tape off which fostered the children to use their hand eye coordination skills.
