Objective:  Child varies the amount of information provided to meet the demands of the situation.

This morning, the children helped set out a mat with some cushions on it.

I asked everyone if they could lay down, looking up at the sky, everyone laid down and got themselves comfortable.

When they were lying down, I asked them what they could see. Everyone said they could see the sky, the trees, the flowers, and more.

The children were able to lay down calmly and take a minute to look up and see the sky.

They were able to identify, when asked what colour things were, that the sky was blue and the trees were green. They were also able to tell me there were no clouds in the sky.

They were communicating verbally with myself and others and then non-verbally pointing at the different things they could see.

Everyone said they enjoyed looking at what we could see.
