Sonas Baldivis – Making Music With The Babies

This week we have continued to focus on our relationships with our babies who have joined us over the last week.

The babies came together as a small group and started to explore the musical instruments. We used our hands to explore the tambourine by repetitively hitting the tambourine and watching the symbols connect with each other. We continued with using the small castanets, bells and clappers to make different sounds, with each sound the babies showed wonder and curiosity, making eye contact with educators and peers before continuing their music.

With small group activities we can build relationships not only between children and educators but also the children’s relationships with their peers.
