We have been learning all about space travel at Sonas Karrinyup. Our families donated lots of items from home so we asked our educators if we could make our very own rocketship! We looked at different pictures of real life rocketships and then collected the boxes we needed from our loose parts. We put the boxes on top of each other and Bec helped us stick them down. Then we painted them and we chose RED because that is a fast colour. Bec cut out the windows and then we all got to have a turn to blast off into space.
We had so much fun but something was missing! Our spacesuits!! Luckily we had shiny silver bags in our loose parts so Bec helped us make the costumes.
