This morning, the children made their own nature sensory tray and took a closer look with magnifying glasses.
We all talked about the textures of the objects. The flowers are soft, and the mulch is hard. The leaves have “lines,” as the children called them, which we looked at with the magnifying glass before tracing over them with our fingers.
A few children even thought they saw a bug living in the mulch!
