Sonas Baldivis South – Weetbix Sensory Play!  

Today in the Nest, we did a weetbix and cocoa powder sensory play with farm animals.

Analysis of Learning: The children used their tactile, smell, and sense of sight to explore and experience the sensory play. After the children were confident with the texture of the wet weetbix with cocoa, the educator added some farm animals to the play.  The children then grabbed each animal and started stomping on their play.

While the children play, we sing the Old McDonald song and make the sounds of each animal.
