The children at Sonas Bayswater have been learning all about the ocean. In our mud pit the children filled buckets up with water and poured it into our tuff tray, the children then added the sea animals and the blue food colouring. As the children were engaged we discussed the names of each animal as well as what else we could find at the beach.

Objectives: embedding the importance sharing and turn taking as well as giving the children a chance to experiment and experience the pleasure and benefits of shared learning exploration, broaden their understanding of the world they live in and develop dispositions for learning such as curiosity, cooperation, confidence, creativity, commitment, enthusiasm, persistence, importance, and reflexivity.
