This morning, the children were invited into the arts studio to paint our paper mache balloons.
We decided to paint the characters from “The Three Little Pigs” nursery rhyme.
This was a relaxing experience, with the children laughing as they thought that it was funny to paint these characters. We decided to paint the pigs pink and the wolf gray; some children painted their pigs with grey patches. We shared discussions about what we could remember about the story.
This afternoon’s experience focuses on developing the children’s comprehension of meaning from pictures and stories.
