This week is NAIDOC week and to celebrate.

The educators set up some cotton bud painting, taking inspiration from traditional dot painting. The children used their fine motor skills to dip the cotton bud into the paint and then put it on the paper.

The educators showed the children images of traditional paintings then allowed the children to come up with their own interpretation.

This activity created a great conversation about the traditional custodians of the land, and the children loved showing off their own.
