This week our children and educators have been focusing on gross motor development skills, hand eye coordination and the ability to concentrate on the task at hand.
This was achieved by playing a game of ring toss using our hula hoops, various resources and even educators themselves.
The children used trial and error as they attempted to throw the hula hoops over the tall logs in our yard. The children used various techniques to get the hoops over the tallest log.
We then moved to setting up some smaller resources to encourage children to continue developing their concentration and hand eye coordination.
Cherie sat on a mat and the children attempted to throw the hula hoops over her. Quite a few children were successful and together the children celebrated this achievement.
