This week Sonas Gosnells began a very special journey with Gail Yarran into the Noongar culture.
Gail came to share her stories about the Aboriginal women for International Women’s Day, sharing with us some of her beautiful artwork as she told us her story of coming from Ballardong country and then how she came to be on Wadjuk land.
We were so excited to show Gail our Acknowledgement to Country before choosing one symbol in the artwork, the turtle to try and recreate.
We are excited for Gail to join us again next week for our reflection session.
