This morning, we all put on our palaeontologist hats and headed to the tough tray to dig up some dinosaurs.

All the children immediately picked up a dinosaur and started doing some roll-play with the dinosaurs. Upon further looking into the dirt, the children noticed smaller dinosaurs hidden in the dirt.

The children then started searching the dirt for more using their hands, using the tongs to move the leaves, and then using the brushes to scrub off the dirt from their freshly dug-up dinosaurs and bones.

As someone newfound a dinosaur, excitement filled the air with happy squeals and calling out to other children and educators to share their own success. Some children ran off to go and find other children to bring to the digging ground.
