During National Families Week we celebrated the vital role that families play in our community and the wider community.

Here at Sonas Huntingdale, we are proud of our diverse community and are passionate about supporting families and helping all children to thrive.

During National Families week we decorated a recycled box with family related items on each side. We created a Children’s tree with removal photos so children can pull off and Velcro back on the tree.

During Mat sessions we looked at and talked about who was in each of our individual family and looked at our friend’s family photos.

We decorated green circles with handprints and finger painting to make into a tree.

We looked through the local parent newspaper, looked at the pictures, and stuck pictures to the box which represented their community family pictures of pets, homes, gardens, and friends.
