Sonas Huntingdale: Sonas War Memorial

This week at Sonas we have been paying our respect to all the soldiers that fought in the war.

We read a book about the last Anzac and done some brain storming with what we learnt from the book.

We payed our respect by helping each other set up a memorial table with a wreath and the poppy flowers we made to add to it.

We also got down to business being little kitchen chefs, being able to make some Anzac cookies.

We all took turns in mixing in the ingredients then making balls to flatten onto a tray to make the cookies. We then got to have the cookies for afternoon tea, they were super Yummy!
