This week we have been discovering more and more about dinosaurs. We have been looking through lots of books and researching all the different types of dinosaurs.
This week we found a new word called fossils. We were all very excited to see what this meant.
Our educators explained to us that fossils are previous animal activities and can come in rock form or remains of animals. We looked at some different types of fossils before we decided to make our own, but these ones were a little bit different.
We made some edible fossils. We set to work as master chefs and made some cookie dough. We found our favorite dinosaurs from our dinosaur museum and pressed their footprints in the dough to make an imprint. We cooked our fossils and then had them for afternoon tea. YUM YUM.
