After observing our children climbing up the small fort with confidence, we followed their lead and had a play on our big fort this week.

All our children were very excited and continued to climb up on different climbing frames to the top of the fort. We raced down the slides or held hands to slide down together. All children were engaged for a long period of time and wanted to revisit the slide in the afternoon.

By enabling the children to climb up the small fort, they were able to get challenged climbing up the big fort to extend their gross motor skills and experience their physical capabilities.

As the children were playing together as a group and shared smiles, laughs and conversations, they have increased their sense of belonging towards the Sonas Midland community and practised their verbal and non-verbal communication with each other.

It was so much fun! 😊
